Catalyst (6th-8th)

Updated: Oct 1, 2025

Catalyst Program (6th – 8th): 8:30am-3pm

A catalyst is known as an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action. It accelerates change by showing the need for change and patiently explaining the way of change by regularly casting vision, painting a picture of the future.

This program is designed to aid the student as they embrace their dialectic skills and prepares them for the Pinnacle Program.  It is in these years that we see significant change in our student’s ability to process and communicate ideas, opinions, and truth.  Learning to communicate respectfully, eloquently, and confidently are key skills that your student will develop in the Catalyst Program.  This program focuses on and encourages the student to begin taking responsibility and teaches them that by doing so, self-control and planning is necessary.

Unlike the Cornerstone and Capstone programs, the Catalyst program is a drop off program and will be meeting once a week from 8:30am-3pm for 15 sessions in the Fall and 15 sessions in the Spring.
